Evolution Shorts

I bought these shorts just over a year ago. I was looking for something at this length (and black) that would fit well and stand up to long backcountry adventures, everyday use, the occasional swim, and that I could dress up a bit when needed. I was working full time running a mountain bike coaching company and traveling 85% of the last year. That is to say, I was on the move A LOT and often had limited space and limited ability to do laundry so I needed an “everything” pair of shorts that could keep up (and not smell bad if I can’t do laundry for a week).

These shorts are truly perfect. I love them so much. They fit great (have held true to their size through lots of abuse/washing etc) and they are super comfy. From hiking, climbing, mountain biking, jumping in the lake at the end of a hike/ride, working, and going on 14 hr long one day roadtrips, to going out to dinner. These shorts have seen it all. I am not exaggerating when I say that I have worn this pair more than any other pant/short that I own (combined!) in the last year. And they are still in perfect condition. No fraying anywhere, no thread/stitching issues, nothing.

So to sum it up, buy these shorts, and then buy some more, and then donate all of your other shorts because you’ll never wear anything but these.
