I've been a fan of Western Rise gear for quite some time. I have a few pairs of paints and shirts, but this was my first t-shirt. I typically purchase merino wool shirts for their antimicrobial properties because it allows me to take them for travel and wear them multiple times before washing. However, some of my shirts are a bit itchy and less comfortable. When I first tried on my shirt, I was shocking that I could get similar benefits (moisture-wicking and odor-resistance) in a shirt that is as soft and comfortable as the X Cotton Tee. The next time I travel, this will be my go-to shirt. I plan to get more of these and begin phasing out my merino wool shirts!

I am 6'-1" 178# and go between Medium (BYLT, Vuori) and Large (Myles, Lulu, Roark, True Classic). The medium fit me perfectly, had a nice length, great snug collar, and good fit through the chest and hips (not tight, not baggy), and super soft. This is a great casual shirt. If you like the Tavalu tee from Vuori or the Signature crew from BYLT, you will like this shirt.

I now have just about every color. I am 6’ 160 and wear a medium and it fits well. Great material and look. My daughter who never notices clothes commented on the fit and look of my new tees.

My everyday tee used to be the One Bag Tee from Pistol Lake. I've recently had to refresh my wardrobe and decided to give the X Cotton Tee a go. I gotta say, it's the next best tee I could find. I like the thickness of the material-- great for all seasons, even a Vancouver summer. The cut is flattering in all the right spots. The weight of the material combined with the fit means it drapes well. Length is perfect (I like a slightly longer look) and I sometimes fold the sleeves up once if the guns need a show. The crew neck is a good size and feels comfortable. I haven't experienced any pilling so far (currently at 3 months with a white tee and 2 weeks with a black tee). For reference, I'm 177 cm tall and weigh 78 kg.
