Soft, sturdy, and with decent odor control, these socks are great. I've used them for walking around town and for hiking and they've held up well, with a little pilling but that is to be expected from wool. They do a decent job of ridding themselves of odor if you hang them over a chair for a day, but it really depends how hard you wear them. I also like the minimal branding and the grey is a nice color.

They are very comfortable and a little more substantial than my other socks. I wore them all day hiking the cinque terre red trail from Monterosso to Vernazza, without any discomfort. Even though they are Marino wool my feet were not hot.
