As far as the cost goes, there are a few reason why our products cost what they do: Fabric - This is the number one cost for our products. We always start at the fabric level, and we source the highest quality fabrics available, to create each different style. Many of the fabrics we use are re-purposed from the outdoor industry and originally intended for use from everything from backpack liners to insulation layers. Some of our fabrics are also custom designed by us specifically for the products we create. All of our fabrics are also BlueSign approved, and are manufactured with a sustainable model. Manufacturing - Having the best fabric is meaningless if you don't have manufacturing to match, so we take this just as serious as our fabrics. We use multiple different manufacturing facilities around the world and this allows us to use the facility that can handle the particularity style the best, whether that be old-world , family-owned factories in Portugal or high-tech laser cutting in Viet nam. Along with using the best factories for each of our pieces, all of our factories are socially and environmentally sustainable as well. They all pay living wages to their employees and provide safe working conditions as well as mitigate their environmental impact. Durability - Along with the fabric and our manufacturing, our products are also designed to me worn more, washed less, and last a very long time. Because the fabrics we use and our manufacturing techniques ensure that we have high performing extremely durable products, one of our pieces can easily replace 2-3 similar pieces that you already have, which adds to their value. All of these factors do add to the cost of our products but the end result is a better constructed, better performing and more sustainable (both environmentally and socially) product. Quality costs more but we believe that all Western Rise products provide quality and value that exceeds their price tag, making them all solid investments. With all that being said, our products are still competitively (and generally lower) priced to other companies' products of similar quality, construction and performance. As far as the boxers "riding up" we have nor received this feedback before and it may be sizing related, as a pair that is too big, may have this issue.
