Diversion Pant Slim

I have been thinking about these pants for years, and finally ordered them with the $48 pants sale and am so glad I did. For context, I have been a big fan of the "do-everything" pant category having owned Lululemon's ABC Pants and DUER's No Sweat Pants, and while I am happy with both of those brands, Western Rise's Diversion is a strong contender for the best of them all. These feel the most like real/traditional pants, the Lululemons feel more like technical/workout type fabric, and the DUERs feel more like a sweatpant fabric. This also fits incredibly well. I really like the slim, tailored look with the tapering down the lower leg with a smaller leg opening, so the fit on the Diversion is exactly what I'm looking for. These have a better butt fit than the Lululemons and DUERs do. I saw some people say to size up but I usually get a 30 waist and the 30 here fits me just fine, snug but not uncomfortable at all. The stretch here is awesome and comfortable to move in but it still maintains its shape and has a great drape with its medium-weight fabric compared to lighter-weight technical pants which always tend to feel wispy and stick to my skin like static-y shrink wrap and don't hang and drape naturally the way that this one does. I got the color black which looks like a slightly lighter shade of black or a super dark grey instead of jet black. If you put this side by side with other clothing that this dark jet black you'll see the difference.
