The classic jean reimagined in a high performance fabric for versatility and mobility. Built for the daily grind, the AT Pant excels in both durability and comfort for long days working from home or weekend adventures outside.
This is my third pair of AT Pants. They are wonderful and very durable. Please carry a charcoal grey soon!
First of all I have to say that Western Rise does have some of the best service available. However, I was sold the AT pants on the belief that they were the same cut as the Evolution Pants which I already own (actually this was stated to me). The AT Pants were meant to replace another pair of “indestructible” pants (in my minimalist travel bag) that are starting to show a bit of wear. However, the thinner cut than the Evolution Pants means these will be sent back which is a pain as I bought them from outside the US. Ok so the pants don’t fit me personally but an objective view on the quality of the pants is that they are some of the best available. They’re so good, that I’ve tried them on three times to try to persuade myself to like them but they are just too tight round my thighs. Of course, if you’re into the thin cut then go ahead this will be an absolute winner. Coming back to the quality I have to say this material is so tough and the weave is so fine it won’t get snagged anywhere. If they did fit me I’m then I think these would last an entire lifetime and really would be a great replacement for jeans (they are jeans on steroids). In terms of the pant organization, the back zip pocket is so handy and was one of the reasons I like Western Rise’s trousers in general. Let’s face it, when you have such a tough pair of trousers you might be wearing them scrambling over fences so you need somewhere to store your valuables. The other thing I like about these trousers is that, like the Evolution Pants, the small inside front pocket fits a small iPhone (not so on just about every other competitor). One thing I would like to change on all of Western Rise’s pants is to make the two front pockets slightly deeper so that there’s more security for the things stored in them. Alas, Western Rise who was working that day when someone told me the cut matched the Evolution Pants? I want to love these so much, and for many these trousers will be a match made in heaven, but for me the purchase Is riddled with frustration because the quality is there but the fit is far too tight for me… I’m going to try them on one more time just in case I can persuade myself into keeping them.
These pants feel like Walmart wrangler tech pants, they have a weird waist height too. Instagram advertising got me and I fell for it. Whoops.
Hello Mark. Thanks for reaching out with your feedback and sorry to hear that the AT pant was not to you liking. That said, we do offer free returns and exchanges, so if the AT Pants re not going to work for you and you haven't already set-up a return/exchange, you can do so through our returns portal here: https://westernrise.returnly.com/ As far as fit goes our AT Pants do have a mid-rise, so they may sit a bit higher if you are used to a low-rise. If you do prefer a lower rise, then I would suggest checking out our Diversion Pants instead. We are sorry to hear that you felt that the AT Pants were overpriced. There are a few reason why our products cost what they do: Fabric - This is the number one cost for our products. We always start at the fabric level, and we source the highest quality fabrics available, to create each different style. All of our fabrics are also BlueSign approved, and are manufactured with a sustainable model. Manufacturing - Having the best fabric is meaningless if you don't have manufacturing to match, so we take this just as serious as our fabrics. Along with using the best factories for each of our pieces, all of our factories are socially and environmentally sustainable as well. They all pay living wages to their employees and provide safe working conditions as well as mitigate their environmental impact. Durability - Along with the fabric and our manufacturing, our products are also designed to me worn more, washed less, and last a very long time. Because the fabrics we use and our manufacturing techniques ensure that we have high performing extremely durable products, one of our pieces can easily replace 2-3 similar pieces that you already have, which adds to their value. All of these factors do add to the cost of our products but the end result is a better constructed, better performing and more sustainable (both environmentally and socially) product. With all that being said, our products are still competitively (and generally lower) priced to other companies' products of similar quality, construction and performance. If you would like to know a bit more about our design philosophy, production methods or our company in general, I do encourage you to check out the About Us section of our website, or reach out with any questions. I hope this information is helpful and please feel free to reach out if you have any questions or if there is anything else we can help you with.
Really like the jean-like toughness of the AT Pant while still being fairly lightweight. Went with the sand color and loving the fit so far.
So far, great! I’ve only had em for a week but 3 days of that has been while traveling in New Mexico and doing lots of outdoorsy stuff. This is the only pair of pants I brought and they’re still crisp as ever. Fit wise I bought a size 33, I’m 6’3” and 185 lbs. Had them hemmed out one inch to a 33 inseam. To my taste they’re nicely slim with a bit of extra room that’s helpful when moving around. Probably gonna buy a second pair soon!
