    Great travel jacket

I am currently traveling in Turkey and East Africa with this jacket, and impressed with how it performs! Whether in light showers in Istanbul or the colder cabin temps on longer flights, the jacket worked well. I’ve received several compliments for the cut and trim on this piece. What more can you ask for?

    Great concept

Like the clean aesthetic, insulation, and materials. Great breathable layer that looks clean, and works in a wide range of temperatures. But also have some nitpicks.

First is the cut. There are certain items that you expect to be cut a certain way. For example a trucker jacket has long sleeves and a short body length. A shirt jacket or over shirt is typically cut for layering. Although I believe this is not cut for layering, and would be better if it was. The front length is a little short, shorter than most of my flannel shirts. But I do appreciate the drop tail. It’s so tight that I find that it restricts some arm movement. I’m 6’1, 167lbs, average build and wearing medium, the suggested and true size. I can’t lift my arms more than 70 degrees without it lifting the entire jacket, would expect 90 degree ability, and likewise can’t easily wrap my arms around myself like I can with most medium jackets. Fortunately it’s a stretch material, so I’m not fully hindered, and thus it’s not a huge issue. Movement of the arms is what is most important to me though.

Second, I love the shell material, but for some reason it seems to have a memory of holding wrinkles and creases more than expected. I haven’t had this long, so maybe after a wash or two it becomes more normal.

Third, I like the snap buttons, but am concerned for the durability of the stretch material around the snap buttons. The chest pocket snap button is extremely hard to use, to the point I’m concerned the…
