Merino wool has UPF properties but sometimes a synthetic like the Session Hoody is what you need on a hot day with some water and tons of sweat.

I wear this as a base layer on hikes when I need extra sun protection.

I looked at different sun hoodies in the market that look simple, great colors, a little elegant (or not limited to appropriate hiking fashion) and no graphics.

This is it, folks.

Also, for being a synthetic it resists odors well.

I’ll be picking up more of these, just know that they do run a little small. But if you understand that this fits like a base layer then go true to size.
